"Hackerville" is the nickname the media has given to Râmnicu Vâlcea, a Romanian city that has become a symbol of global cybercrime.

Here, amidst IT skills, low costs, and international networks, a digital laboratory emerged, but one that went down the wrong path: phishing, ransomware, online fraud, and the trafficking of stolen data.

The victims? Not just numbers, but people, businesses, and institutions. Money, data, and trust are lost.

And every attack makes our society more fragile.
